EastEnders' original Mr Nasty, Dirty Den, is to bed Zoe Slater, it has emerged.

Den Watts, played by Leslie Grantham, gets the former call girl drunk and lives up to his name by getting down and dirty with a girl young enough to be his granddaughter, according to this morning's Daily Star.

This is not the first time Den has gone for a girl well below his age - he got Michelle Fowler pregnant while she was still a schoolgirl before he vanished from Walford.

Zoe, played by Michelle Ryan, is fancied by housemate Spencer Moon - but it looks like she will go for someone a lot more experienced.

"Zoe turns into a real sex kitten and you will be really surprised by her choice of bloke," Michelle commented.

A source for the soap told the Star: "Den proves that there's still plenty of life left in the old rat. He's always had a thing for young girls and Zoe proves totally irresistible to his sleazy charms.

"Viewers will be both shocked and gripped by the way Dirty Den seduces poor Zoe," the source added.

"It's the hottest storyline we've done for a long, long time."
