Corrie's Jason tastes forbidden fruit

Coronation Street love rat Jason Grimshaw will earn himself a sore head after girlfriend Candice finds out about his wandering ways.

According to the Sun newspaper, Jason gets whacked with a metal tray during a row with his missus.

Viewers will see the builder's mate bed bored housewife Mrs Fanshaw before turning his attention to Street veteran Gail Platt.

Actor Ryan Thomas, who plays Jason, told the Sun that the show's producers have plans to make him a real womaniser.

"I'm sure Gail won't be the last - the producers have said they want Jason bedding customers left, right and centre," he said. "Candice gets really angry when she finds out and she can't believe he tried it on with Gail."

After their row Candice and Jason are set to go their separate ways.
