'Coronation Street' schoolgirl Rosie Webster will be left fighting for her life after being run over outside her school.
The Goth teenager is hit by a speeding vehicle as she listens to music through a set of headphones while outside her school gates.
Rosie, played by 16-year-old Helen Flanagan, will be left on the brink of death in intensive care as her distraught parents Kevin and Sally keep a bedside vigil.
Doctors tell the worried couple their daughter has suffered a broken arm, concussion, has dislocated her shoulder, has facial cuts and may even have serious internal injuries.
Rosie's frantic boyfriend Craig Harris, actor Richard Fleeshman, also rushes to be by her side believing she is already dead.
A show source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "The scenes are very powerful and the outcome is yet to be decided."
