Cocaine Kate apologises

Kate Moss has publicly apologised for taking cocaine - admitting she has "let down" the important people in her life.

The supermodel - who has lost several lucrative advertising deals since shocking images of her snorting cocaine emerged - admitted she is battling to sort out her "issues".

She said: "I take full responsibility for my actions. I also accept there are various personal issues I need to address and have started taking the difficult, yet necessary, steps to resolve them.

"I want to apologise to all of the people I have let down because of my behaviour, which has reflected badly on my family, friends, co-workers, business associates and others."

The 31-year-old catwalk queen - who has a two-year-old daughter, Lila Grace - also said in the statement she was trying to "stay positive" in the wake of the scandal.

Meanwhile, it's been revealed police may quiz Kate over the drug allegations.

Britain's Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair said: "We have to look at the impact of this kind of behaviour on impressionable young people and if there is evidence something should be done about it."
