Chris Evans once saw ghosts hovering over Billie Piper's head.

The radio DJ has revealed he saw the spirits of two children floating over his then-wife's head while she was asleep.

But Chris claims he wasn't afraid because the ghosts appeared to be protecting the 'Doctor Who' star.

He revealed on his new Radio 2 show: "I've seen the ghosts of two little Dickensian kids hovering above my second wife, Billie Piper's, head. She wasn't awake but I honestly saw them. It was in the big old house where we used to live. It didn't scare me at all, because they just smiled and they were above Billie's head, almost looking after her."
