Amanda Peet has welcomed her second child, a daughter.

The 'Whole Nine Yards' and '2012' actress and her screenwriter husband David Benioff ('The 25th Hour') have named the new arrival Molly Jone, according to People magazine.

A spokesperson for Amanda said: "Mother and daughter are doing great."

The couple already have a three-year-old daughter, Frances, together who is already vocal about the name of the newborn.

Peet recently revealed: "There's been a lot of fighting going on in my household over names. Frankie is very excited. She just wants to call the baby Turtle."

At the time of her birth, Peet was due to be promoting her new film 'Please Give'.

She was set to appear on a slot on the talk show 'The Late Show With David Letterman' but pulled out at the last minute when she went into labour.
