Strictly Come Dancing host Anton du Beke's Saturday night gameshow has been axed by the BBC.
Offbeat celebrity show 'Hole in the Wall' had ratings of 6.1 million viewers following its launch in 2008, but the numbers dropped to 4 million last year.
A BBC source told The Sun: “There’s still a lot of affection for Hole In The Wall, but bosses thought it was time to try something else.”
The premise of the show was to have celebrities in silver spandex suits attemot to jump through shapes in a moving wall and then into a pool.
Du Beke was one of the Strictly Come Dancing's team captains before being promoted to a presenting role in the second series. However, his future on the dance show is also in jeapordy following his involvement in a race row last year.
An insider added: "Anton won't be happy. It's an astonishing fall from grace.
"Just six months ago he was being talked about as the next big thing at the BBC. Now it looks like he could be left with nothing."
