There is 100,000 waiting for the first Big Brother 5 housemates to have sex.

An adult television network has put the sum on the table just days before the contestants enter the house and are cut off from the outside world.

The odds of housemates getting it on have been cut to their lowest ever level for this series of the reality TV show.

One bookmaker was offering just 2/1 on for sex happening, with the first week a 6/1 favourite for the encounter.

Bosses at Endemol, the show's producers, have pulled out all the stops to make this the most explosive Big Brother yet.

Housemates have been given a single bedroom, with some double beds, rather than the traditional boys and girls rooms.

Additionally there is a fridge full of booze waiting for the housemates - so they will not have to order it on their weekly shopping budget.

While this fridge will be locked reports indicate that Big Brother will give housemates the key every time it looks like they are getting "friendly".

PlayboyTV UK head of marketing Richard Gale, whose network has stumped up the 100,000 "prize", said: "Everyone has been waiting for some serious action in the Big Brother house and this offer should encourage the housemates to lose their inhibitions.

"We are in no doubt that the first sexual exploits seen on Big Brother will be something our viewers will be desperate to see.

"We think this is the year that the Big Brother house will come to a climax and we want to be able to replicate the part that Channel 4 won't broadcast."
