Emmerdale's Zoe is livid when she finds out that Scott has been tricking her to get access to their daughter - and ends up injecting him with a horse sedative.

A fight breaks out between the pair at Home Farm when Zoe threatens to never let Scott, played by Ben Freeman, see Jean again.

He throws Zoe up against a table and Leah Bracknell's character grabs a nearby syringe full of Ketamine and plunges it into him, causing Scott to collapse unconscious.

The situation is made even more desperate as it happens just after Scott gets down on one knee and asks Zoe to marry him ahead of their planned emigration to America.

She has been warming to former love Scott for weeks as he appeared to be taking her side against increasingly bitchy attacks from his step-mum, Viv.

Zoe had no idea that it was all part of a plot to get her to trust Scott once again - and that Viv, played by Deena Payne, had been winding her up on purpose.

When the penny finally drops, Zoe is livid - and threatens to leave Emmerdale forever, taking Jean, played by Meg Pearson, with her.

A desperate Scott throws her down against the table in rage, prompting Zoe to defend herself with the only thing she can - a syringe full of drugs prepared for an injured horse.
