Actress Catherine Zeta Jones is suing a topless cabaret club after the US-based business displayed her picture on its website alongside partially nude women.
Ms Zeta Jones claims that the Nevada-based Spice House of Reno used her image for advertising and promotion without seeking her permission.
The Welsh-born actress has filed a legal action against the club's owners in the US District Court in Los Angeles.
The Hollywood favourite says that the club's use of her image is detrimental to her public image and could "dilute the value of her celebrity endorsement."
Ms Zeta Jones also claims that the use of the images implied that she had "endorsedsexually explicit content."
The actress is seeking unspecified damages from the club and an order barring the owners from making further use of her image.
The wife of Hollywood veteran Michael Douglas is no stranger to legal battles.
She is currently involved in a separate court case relating to a woman who is accused of stalking her.
Dawnette Knight has been in custody since June and will stand trial next month. She denies a charge of stalking and 24 further charges of making criminal threats against the actress.
In January Ms Zeta Jones and Mr Douglas were awarded substantial damages after suing Hello magazine for publishing unauthorised pictures of their wedding.
