X-Factor judge set for Vagina Monologues role

Sharon Osbourne is reportedly the latest celebrity to star in the London stage production of The Vagina Monologues.

Music mogul and wife to hellraiser Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne, is reportedly the latest celebrity to star in the London stage production of The Vagina Monologues.

The X-Factor judge is in talks with producers for the role, which features women talking intimately about their private parts.

"Sharon saw the play and loved it," an unnamed source told Sound Generator. "It's ballsy and fun. There's not that much acting and she will play different women at various stages of life."

However, Sharon is no stranger to the limelight having appeared in the fly-on-the-wall TV series The Osbournes as well as hit US comedy series Will & Grace.

Other stars to have performed the Vagina Monologues include Maureen Lipman, Sophie Dahl, ex-Spice Girl Mel B and Jerry Hall.
