Amy Winehouse is set to appear on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, as a backing singer for her aspiring music star goddaughter.
Dionne Bromfield, who is 13-years-old, is the first signing to the 'Back to Black' star's new record label, Lioness.
The family duo will perform Bromfield's first single 'Mama Said', which first became a hit for The Shirelles in the early 60s.
Bromfield said: "Amy and I both love Strictly... so it was brilliant to find out I'll be on TV for the first time singing on one of my favourite shows."
Winehouse also sings backing vocals on the album version of 'Mama Said' as well as contributing greatly to the rest of the soul covers record's feel.
"I've known Amy for ever," Bromfield said. "I'm very close to Amy. She's like my sister."
Winehouse is convinced her goddaughter can have a successful career to match her own. She said: "The first time I heard Dionne sing, I couldn't believe what I was hearing - such an amazing voice from such a young girl.
"She's so much better than I was at her age."
After public struggles with drink and drug abuse, Winehouse has only performed live in the UK once in the last year.
She has spent much of 2009 living in St Lucia working on the follow up to her multi Grammy award winning album 'Back to Black'.
