Comedian Vic Reeves has been arrested and charged with drink driving after crashing into a car parked near his rural home.
The former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here contestant was apprehended by police on Friday after his vintage Jaguar hit a stationary car in which a 23-year-old woman was sitting.
After hitting Michelle Tong's Peugeot 106, Reeves' vehicle then careered up a bank and ploughed into a fence.
The 46-year-old star, whose real name is Jim Moir, was charged with drink driving and leaving the scene of an accident following the incident in a road in Maidstone, Kent.
A spokesperson for Kent police said: "We can confirm that just after 15:00 GMT on Saturday a James Moir, born 1959, was charged with driving a vehicle with excess alcohol and failing to stop at the scene of an accident."
The comic, who voices Churchill Insurance's bulldog in motor insurance ads, is currently waiting for a court hearing date to be confirmed.
Reeves, who appeared in the ITV1 reality show I'm A Celebrity with wife Nancy Sorrrell, 30, is the star of BBC hits Shooting Stars and The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer.
