US actor Eric Dane sues Billy Corgan over a fallen tree

The feud between the two stars Eric Dane and Billy Corgan has reportedly started over fallen tree which allegedly almost killed Dane’s then pregnant wife.

 

The tree, which was on Corgan’s property, apparently came crashing down during a storm last year. 

 

Based on the complaint, Dane claimed that his wife actress Rebecca Gayheart was at home with their 20-month-old daughter when the accident happened.

 

The tree from Corgan’s property fell causing the power lines to snap, and the sprinkler system was set off, which then flooded the couples’ house. Mother and daughter were unharmed according to reports. 

Dane also claimed that Corgan ignored warnings telling him that the tree was unstable and dangerous.

 

This claim has been denied by the rocker in a statement.

 

He said, as quoted by Female First: “I was horrified when I learned about the tree falling. . . . Thankfully, no one was injured." 

 

According to TMZ.com, Dane is seeking for unspecified damages for nuisance, negligence, and injunctive relief.
