John Travolta reunites with Olivia-Newton John for a Holiday Album

Long time pals and Grease co-stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John are collaborating on a new holiday-themed album, ‘This Christmas’.

 

The 13-track album contains all-new original song, “I Think You Might Like It” reportedly written by John Farrar.

 

The album, which is understood will go on sale on November 16th, allegedly also features Barbra Streisand, Kenny G, Chick Corea, James Taylor, and Tony Bennet. 

 

A statement from the Saturday Night Fever star Travolta, as referred to by Female First, reads: “From the moment we decided to do this, magic happened. Everyone we contacted agreed to do it. My desire was to make This Christmas an intimate album, not something too ostentatious or showy.

 

“I wanted people to be able to play it around the house or in the car during the holidays, and make us part of your celebration.

 

“We all felt a wonderful, joyful energy while recording this album. We want to make a lot of people smile.”

Proceeds of the album are expected to be donated to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre and Jett Travolta Foundation.
