Keira Knightley loves the facial scar she got after a movie stunt backfired.

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star, whose cheek was burned during action scenes for new movie 'Domino', says she is proud of the mark because it is a great conversation piece.

She said: "I'm very proud of it because everyone looks at it and goes: 'Wow, what happened?' and I say, 'It was nothing, just a burn mark from my machine gun.'"

However, Keira, 20, recently admitted she was so shaken up after misfiring the powerful weapon she has vowed never to pick up a gun again.

The sexy actress admitted at the time she broke down after a shell jumped back and hit her in the face.

She revealed: "I hated firing the machine gun.

"I fell to the ground and couldn't get up, I was terrified. I burst into tears.

"I know they say when you experience something like that, it's like falling off a horse - you should get back on it. But I have fallen off a horse and I didn't get back on."
