A man from North Dakota, who is known for his sense of humour, has penned his two-word obituary. It read simply: “Doug died.”
Douglas Legler’s death notice featured a photo of him having the last laugh. His daughter, Janet Stoll, said that his 85-year-old father “asked over and over, when I die I want my obituary to just say “Doug Died.”
She added: "He was very lighthearted and had a great sense of humour."
Mr Legler worked as a lorry driver, vending machine repairman, and painter of farm equipment. He also liked visiting the casino occasionally and singing country music.
Mr Legler's funeral was held on Thursday.
