Pop princess Britney Spears is planning to get hitched on live TV.

The singer is reportedly in talks with MTV and could invite the cameras to join her when she walks down the aisle.

Britney is planning to marry on/off boyfriend Kevin Federline in California later this year.

Reports suggests that she wants to follow in the footsteps of Jessica Simpson, who stars in MTV's The Newlyweds along with her boy band wannabe husband.

Britney has been quoted as saying that she wants Kevin to be just as famous as she is.
