The BBC appears to be having a few teething problems as it gets used to its new football schedule.

After winning back the rights for Premiership highlights, the Beeb has a few gremlins to iron out.

On Saturday, when Lineker and co returned for the first time, there was a brief loss of transmission.

Viewers also got to see a post-match interview with Middlesbrough's Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink before his goal was shown.

Last night the Beeb showed its first live England friendly of the season. David Beckham was back on form and helped Sven's men to a comfortable victory over Ukraine.

But even John Motson seemed a little flustered when the graphic showing the Ukraine line-up failed to appear during his pre-match build-up.

It finally arrived on the screen midway through the first half.
