To remember the failed Gunpowder Plot all those years ago back in 1605, here’s our Top 10 Bonfire Night Food list to help you with your Bonfire Night party. 10. Baked Potato:
These might be on your Bonfire Night Food list, but we think there are plenty of other options that outrank a spud wrapped in tinfoil (sounds tasty though!)
9. Meatball canapés:
These are easy to make, take a look at our Food and Drink channel for the recipe. Canapés provide a simple yet tasty treat for all your guests
8. Pumpkin Soup:
Well, why not use the pumpkin left over from Halloween on Bonfire Night?
7. Hotdogs:
The party classic! Not forgetting they run alongside the theme of all that is hot, burning, popping, whizzing, sizzling or generally going off with a bang on Bonfire Night
6. Bang Burger:
To add a bang to your food in memory of Guy Fawkes, simply rustle up some chilli burgers. Your guests are sure to love them
5. Leek and Potato Soup:
November sees the start to the leek season. Knock up something warm for your Bonfire Night party – add a sprinkle of paprika to really pack some warmth!
4. Toffee Apples: Who can resist a toffee apple on Bonfire Night? When you’ve finished bobbing for them during Halloween, simply bung them in some toffee

Surprisingly this isn’t our number one choice for Bonfire Night Food, still in the top three though! Who can resist a sticky bonfire lolly?

This will put fire in the hole, if you use plenty of chilli peppers that is!

With all the trimmings – beetroot and pickles – not forgetting brown sauce! Pie and Peas are top of our Bonfire Night Food list, you need to have a full tummy and feel warmed from within on Bonfire Night!
