Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie has been voted the most kissable actress in the world.

A new poll, conducted by Sky Movies, has put the 27-year-old top of a list containing some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.

Having made her breakthrough as all-action beauty Lara Croft in the computer game-inspired Tomb Raider series, she will be setting pulses racing again next year as the sultry Olympias in Oliver Stone's Alexander.

Bend it Like Beckham's Keira Knightley came in second with 23 per cent of the vote - eight per cent behind Jolie.

Of the present crop of male actors, Orlando Bloom's recent roles as Legolas in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Paris in Troy saw him voted the most kissable man in movies, ahead of Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Two thousand people voted in the poll.
