The BBC recently announced that The Voice UK tour has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales and for Simon Cowell that means winning the competition between Britain's Got Talent and The Voice.
BBC's The Voice had struggled for weeks to draw more attention as compared to Simon Cowell's Britain's Got Talent. Unfortunately, it not only struggled with it's fan base, but also, did not do so well with The Voice's tour ticket sales. Alongside the winner, Leanne Mitchel, her fellow finalists Bo Bruce, Vince Kidd, Becky Hill, Max Milner, Jaz Ellington, Tyler James and Ruth Brown were all due to perform.
A spokesperson from The Voice said, 'Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales - customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds."
Reports say that The Voice started with over 11 million viewers, had dropped to less than 5 million by the semi-final stage.
