2013 is just like any other year for celebrities; it is full of break-ups that shocked the public.

2013 is yet another year of the broken hearts in the world of the entertainment industry. The year started with a very nasty break-up of Taylor Swift and One Direction star Harry Styles. The couple, who were just going out for a month, went to the Caribbean before they broke up. Following the break-up, Taylor penned the hit single I Knew You Were Trouble.

In July, another celebrity break-up rocked the entertainment industry. Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger called it quits after five years. Following the break up, Nicole reportedly had to seek professional help to get through her troubles and for her to stay strong and focused.

Engaged couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth also called it quits this year just a couple of weeks after her controversial VMA twerking performance. Liam has been linked to superhot model Eliza Gonsalez since while Miley continues to shock everybody with her antics.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez seemed to have finally had enough of their on-off relationship. This year, they broke up and some say it could be for good.

This year also marked the end of the relationship of Tulisa and Danny Simpson. The same is true for Cheryl Cole and Tre Holloway. Insider says that the relationship wasn’t going to work as LA-based Tre refused to move to England.

But perhaps, the most shocking break-up this year was that of Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr. The pair, who has a son, has announced that they were ending their six-year marriage.
