107 gnomes mysteriously appeared in a woman’s garden overnight.

A homeowner was stunned to find 107 gnomes placed in an orderly fashion in her front garden. 

 

Writing about the mysterious, bizarre thing on Facebook, Marcela Telehanicova said: "Ok, who the f*** has put 100 gnomes outside my front door?!?!

 

She then told the Plymouth Herald: "I was in hysterics, I found it really funny."

 

“It’s the best, most bizarre thing that has ever happened to me."

 

“I don’t know who did it but I would love to know, I would love to shake their hand and say ‘Well done, you made me laugh’."

 

Police, who were called on June 2, are now investigating the incident which took place at Bowdens Park in Ivybridge, Devon. 

 

"Someone has taken quite a bit of time and effort to place them there," the force spokesman said.

 

"It has unsettled the homeowner who has no idea why there were put in her front garden at night.

 

"We are seeking to establish where the gnomes have come from.

 

"The question is whether they are stolen, or if it's a prank and someone is playing a game of gnomes."
