Teenager found dead after dog attack in Greater Manchester
A teenaged girl has been killed by a pack of dogs that were "out of control"

Jade Anderson, aged 14, has been left dead following an attack by a group of dogs at a house in the north of England. The youngster was found by police investigating the scene yesterday, on Tuesday, 26thMarch.
It is believed the school-girl was paying a visit to the house in Greater-Manchester when the animals attacked her. Based on reports, there are claims she may have been in possession of an item of food.
Police, who found her body around 2pm, have terminated four dogs. This relates to two Bull Mastiff dogs and also two Staffordshire Bull Terriers, as they were considered to be “aggressive and out of control”.
An individual from Greater Manchester Police said of the tragic incident: “First and foremost our thoughts are with the family of the girl who has tragically lost her life. Specialist officers are offering them every support.”
It is understood there are enquiries being carried out following the girl’s death. It is understood that Jade was a pupil at Fred Longworth High School in Manchester.
The school said on their site that they are “deeply shocked and saddened” by the news of Jade's “tragic death”.
Their comment also reads: “The Fred Longworth community will miss her and our thoughts and sympathies are with her family and friends at this terrible time."
The school is close to Tyldesley Road, with its location lying West of the city centre of Manchester.
