Actress marries just hours after announcing engagement...

Tara Reid has married in Greece, just a few hours after getting engaged.

The American Pie actress announced her engagement to mystery man Zack Kehayov on Saturday via her Twitter page, despite the world believing she was in a relationship with Danish businessman, Michael Lilleund.

Later in the evening, she returned to the social networking site, but this time to announce that the pair had married in Greece.

The actress posted:

"I just got engaged!", before writing "Greece married!" a few hours later. She then wrote:

"Thank you for all of your support! I love you guys. Love in Greece... I am now a wife :)".

Reid's ex, Lillelund, was forced to make a statement following her spur of the moment wedding, which said:

"If she has married, then she hasnÂ’t married me, thatÂ’s for sure.

"I havenÂ’t spoken to her since February. IÂ’m in the Hamptons in New York. IÂ’m not even in Greece."

Later this year Tara will reprise her role as girl next door, Vicky Lathum, in the fourth instalment of the American Pie franchise.

She is also one of a host of stars reported to be taking part in the relaunch of Celebrity Big Brother this August.
