Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky Musical premiers in Hamburg

The “first on the planet” all singing, all dancing musical Rocky is expected to be a knockout with audiences

Sylvester Stallone was extremely excited for the premiere of his Rocky musical in Hamburg, Germany, which happened last weekend. The Hollywood star teamed up with champion boxing brothers Vladimir and Vitali Klitschko to bring Rocky, his 1976 film, to the stage.

 

Stallone was in Hamburg over the weekend for the production’s opening night scheduled for 18th November, 2012. He, together with the boxing brothers, is expecting a warm reception from the audiences.

 

Stallone says, as reported by Female First: “I'm so happy. It's amazing that the Klitschkos are here and they're giving birth to something that is first on the planet. I'm proud of you guys. I'm proud of Hamburg. Thank you!”

 

Vitali adds: “Sylvester Stallone is the Pope of Rocky. Without Sylvester, nothing happens. He's given birth to the idea and we've had lots of fun during our cooperation. We're very convinced it will be successful.”
