Abbey has re-launched its mortgage range with the introduction of two 'Summer Special' variable rate tracker mortgages from 4.19 per cent.
A new Home Buyer benefit package has also been included to help with the cost of moving, which is available to both new and existing customers.
The two new variable rate tracker mortgages include the option to add the 499 booking fee to the loan. This will make it easier for customers to manage the upfront costs of moving house or switching their mortgage to Abbey.
Abbey's customer director Angus Porter, said: "Our range of mortgages offer people great deals whether they're first time buyers, moving home or remortgaging to Abbey."
He added: "Our mortgages also offer a number of distinctive options and features, which really help customers to tailor their mortgage to their specific needs."
Among those features is a loyalty discount for existing Abbey customers who move home and take out a one of the products. They can benefit from paying a reduced mortgage rate - the discount for the two-year tracker and fixed rate mortgages is 0.10 per cent and for the Flexible Plus mortgage it is 0.05 per cent.
Additionally, customers who want a two-year tracker mortgage, but would prefer to pay a reduced rate over the discounted term, can choose to pay an upfront arrangement fee of 499, or add it to the loan, in order to reduce the mortgage rate by 0.25 per cent.
There is also a range of longer-term deals available, such as Abbey's Reward Mortgage which offers people one per cent cashback of their mortgage balance every two years for the lifetime of the mortgage. This mortgage rate tracks the Bank of England base rate plus 1.24 per cent.
