Ben Stiller has revealed he will be taking a year off after the birth of his baby.
The Hollywood funnyman, who is expecting his second child with actress wife Christine Taylor, will quit acting for at least a year to spend time with his two-year-old daughter, Ella, and the new baby, due this summer.
A friend said the star, who made six movies last year, now wants to put his family first.
He said: "Ben loves being a father and he feels he's missing out on a lot by working so much. He said he wants to take at least a year off."
But the friend explained that, although Ben might not be making movies, he would still find the year hard.
He said: "His new role will be chief diaper changer!"
On Saturday night (02.04.05), Stiller covered Johnny Depp in green slime during the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, after tricking the heartthrob.
