Strictly Come DancingÂ’s Christmas special line-up has been revealed, according to reports.
The Press Association is reporting that Su Pollard will be saying He-di-Hi to professional dancer Anton Du Beke, while Eastenders actress Charlie Brooks - who plays the villainous Janine Butcher in the London soap - is to partner Vincent Simone.
The ever flamboyant Pollard said:
"Strictly Come Dancing is strictly must-see Christmas Day television. I'm hoping to wow the judges and the viewers with my utter exuberance and prowess!”
Brooks also added:
"I'm a massive fan of the series and there's no way my daughter would have let me turn down such an amazing opportunity to be on the show. I love to be challenged and I'm really looking forward to taking to the dance floor with Vincent."
The two will be joined by former Bad Girls and Coronation Street actress Debra Stephenson, who will dance with Ian Waite, while boy band BlueÂ’s Simon Webbe will compete with Katya Virshilas.
Former world featherweight champion boxer Barry McGuigan, partnered with Erin Boag, completes the line up of celebrities for the festive edition of the BBC One competition.
McGuigan said:
"I'm looking forward to Strictly Come Dancing, it's a challenge. I've always considered myself to have two left feet and I want to surprise myself."
Bruce Forsyth, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will host the show, which is expected to air on Christmas Day on BBC One.
