The courts have handed Stephen Seddon a life sentence after he shot both his mother and father supposedly for inheritance money. He was given jail time at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday, 27th March.
Mr. Seddon has been convicted of two murders as well as attempted murder. It is understood he shot his parents after visiting them at their home in Greater Manchester.
This follows his attempt to try and kill them months previously. According to reports, the man drove them both into a canal.
A statement read out for the victims’ family by police said the period had been a “very sad and emotional time for our family”.
It read: “The shock of having both Pat and Bob taken from us in such horrifying and tragic circumstances has left us feeling numb.”
Adding: “Pat and Bob were a kind, loving and selfless couple who will be missed.”
