Newlywed Martin Fowler is set to confront his unhinged stalker Sarah only to be stabbed by her, it has emerged.

Martin spent a drunken night with the psycho and since then she has refused to let go - but things really kick off over the next couple of weeks.

Sarah confronts Martin's mum Pauline with her version of the truth and when the bleached blonde doesn't believe her she pushes her down the stairs.

Martin tries to sort things out with the bunny boiler but she flips and he is forced to restrain her. Sarah tells the police that Martin, played by James Alexandrou, attacked her and while he is in the police station she goes for Sonia.

Sonia, who still thinks Sarah is a friend, is delighted to see her arrive. But this delight turns to disbelief and then fear, as Sarah tells Sonia that Martin only married her because he felt sorry about Jamie before trying to stab her love rival.

Fortunately, Martin has got out of prison by this stage and rushes to the rescue, only to be stabbed himself. While Martin is bleeding on the sofa Sarah tries to throttle Sonia.

"Sarah is a proper psycho, she's madder than Janine Butcher," an insider told the Daily Mirror.

"Martin is a hero but it remains to be seen whether Sonia can forgive him for what he's done," the source added.
