Princess Cristina is reportedly being associated with a corruption case

Princess Cristina, 47, of Spain has been connected with a court case, it has emerged. The daughter of the King of Spain, Juan Carlos, is not directly in line to the throne.

The news comes as part of the case regarding Princess Cristina’s husband, Inaki Urdangarin. It is believed that he faces allegations surrounding embezzlement. 

 

Based on reports, the Princess has been linked to a case concerning her husband’s business dealings.

 

Some media reports have claimed that she may be being named a suspect in a case. Princess Cristina is expected to attend court in Palma de Mallorca in Spain later this month.

 

It is understood the royal family have refrained from making a comment on the matter as it relates to a judge’s decision.

 

It is understood the Princess was on the board of a non-money making company, which Inaki Urdangarin was a Chief of, over seven years ago.

 

Palma de Mallorca, which is known as Palma, Majorca, is part of the Balearic Islands in Spain.
