Double Oscar winner Kevin Spacey has said he may quit cinema to act on stage for the rest of his life.
The star of The Usual Suspects is currently spending most of his time treading the boards in the West End of London and is apparently loving it.
"When you're on stage, it's another world and you feel the energy of the setting and you thrive on that," he extolled.
"Films are a disconnected form of performance because the live contact with the audience isn't there," said the millionaire movie star.
And it is not just the live audience that is keeping him away from Hollywood, the New Jersey born actor seems to feel at home having swapped the Big Apple for the Big Smoke.
"I feel the excitement of living in London after having basically lived in New York for the last twenty years," he said.
"I love being able to start a new life here and realise a dream."
But he is unrepentant of his former life as a star of the silver screen.
"I'm still proud of a lot of the films I did," he said, but added that this does not mean he will go back to cinema.
"I never expected, or for that matter wanted, to become an action star with one hit after another. The life I have now is the one I want."
