Hollyoaks set to be devastated by fire...

Fans of Hollyoaks are to be left stunned next week after a fire rips through the heart of the village – and viewers will find that nothing will be the same again.

Several main characters will be left in peril as a fire started in Il Gnosh brings havoc to all the residents.

Next week will see the start of the catastrophic events, with each day dedicated to certain characters and the final episode revealing who has died and who has survived.

It is not known yet who will die in the fire, but it seems that several key characters, including Steph and Amy, will be left fighting for their lives.

Show bosses have promised that the storyline will mark the beginning of a new era for the soap and will leave a heavy mark for many months to come.

Suspects will be monitored closely, as many people are said to have a grudge against Il Gnosh owner Tony - and we can't forget about the mysterious return of the supposedly dead Warren Fox.
