Single Mischa's love offers

'The O.C.' star Mischa Barton has been inundated with romantic offers since splitting from oil heir boyfriend Brandon Davis.

The stunning actress, who plays Marissa Cooper in the hit teen drama, last week called time on her one-year relationship with Davis, the grandson of billionaire Marvin Davis.

Now the 18-year-old star has "been bowled over by offers" from fans and admirers.

Mishca and Brandon began dating after being introduced at a charity fundraising event in February 2004.

In recent months, Barton and Davis were alleged to have had a series of furious bust-ups but rumours of unrest in the relationship were never confirmed.

A friend of the beautiful 19-year-old star has now revealed that the reason behind the unexpected split only surfaced recently.

The pal said: "It developed over the last week."

Barton's representative, Craig Schneider, confirmed the split last week, but has so far refused to reveal any details of the reason behind the break-up.

He said: "They are no longer together but they remain close friends."
