The American adventure "Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" has stopped the hit British film "Shaun of the Dead" from being top of the UK box office for the second week running.
The so-called 'rom-zom-com', which is produced by the team responsible for cult comedy "Spaced", fell to third place in the chart with takings of 1.1 million.
At second place in the chart is the US smash, "50 First Dates", starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
Meanwhile "Kill Bill: Vol 2" is dominating the US box office charts. The Quentin Tarantino hit made 14 million over the weekend and with its forthcoming UK premiere it is expected to top the UK charts next week.
