Sam Smith Can Speak Again

Sam Smith has revealed that he can speak again following his vocal cord surgery last month.

Sam Smith has posted a picture on Instagram showcasing Ariel from the Little Mermaid as she recovered her own voice in the movie to reveal that he is able to speak again following his vocal cord surgery last month. 

 

The singer was forced to cancel tour dates after it was found that he was suffering from a hemorrhage.

 

He wrote: "I CAN SPEAK AGAIN!!!!!!!!"

 

He also confirmed that he will be returning to Australia “to make up for” his axed concerts. 

 

Writing alongside a tour poster, he revealed: "AUSTRALIA. From all the bad news has come some good news!! Not only am I coming back to make up for the cancelled shows but I get to play bloody arenas!!!!

 

"So excited to sing for all of you and apologise personally for my bleeding throat xxxx (sic)"

 

 Meanwhile, Sam has another reason to be overjoyed. He has become the only single act since The Beatles to spend 50 weeks in the top five with a debut album.
