Fern Claims Artem Kicked Her!

Fern Britton claims that she was kicked and shoved by partner Artem Chigvintsev during her training for Strictly Come Dancing.

57-year-old Fern Britton claimed Artem Chigvintsev, her former partner for her Strictly Come Dancing stint used to kick and shove her during training. She added that he once told her he would “kill” her if she didn’t go home one day, for which she replied: “Oh please, just kill me, it would be easier.” 

 

Speaking at an event hosted by The Times newspaper, she said: "He would look at my feet and just kick me or shove me.

 

"He was like, 'Shut your face. Go home before I kill you.' "

 

Fern made light of his "kill" comment, admitting she joked with him about it.

 

She added: "I would say, 'Oh please just kill me, it would be easier.' Or what was his other one? 'If you go for a cup of tea now, I will blow off like an atomic bomb.' I thought, well I won’t correct him on that one."

 

However, Fern admitted that it wasn’t all bad and that they liked each other “for a moment or two.”

 

Artem and Strictly Come Dancing is yet to comment on the issue.
