Many Emmerdale characters would be thrilled to learn that Sadie King is going to jump off a cliff.

And that's exactly what the soap's bosses are planning. They want the vicious vixen, played by Patsy Kensit, to fake her own death after running away with Cain Dingle.

A Dales mole told the Sun: "This is a storyline that is being talked about at the moment - although no firm decisions have been taken.

"There will then be lots of twists and turns afterwards before her character returns."

But anyone thinking that this is an elaborate way to tell the public that Patsy is leaving Emmerdale can rest assured that she's not.

"Patsy has recently signed a one-year contract. She is committed to the soap," the insider continued.

The former wife of Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher will be doing pantomime this season, as well as filming with Val Kilmer in new movie Played.
