Kat and Alfie's perilous financial situation worsened this week as the attempt to pawn off all personal valuables failed to raise enough cash. Well, a fiver's a start isn't it? Andy continued to taunt the pair as Kat suggested fleeing the Square to be rid of the evil, horrible, terrible, meanie gangster (boo). Kat does everything she has to to "work off" the debt. But whether her marriage will last is anyone's guess.

Money woes continued to grip the residents of Walford as the farcical Ferreiras' fraught financial failures continued as Ash attempted to earn some easy cash down the bookies. Having gambled five hundred notes in order to save their home, the stupid idiot lost it all. Stupid idiot. Dodgy-bearded Adi was furious with his stupid idiot of a bruvva and forced him to face his gutted faaamily. Stupid idiot.

Garry and Pat agonised over the guest list to Laura's funeral, realising there was not much to agonise over as no one would show up. A cheap do down the Vic no doubt. Ian seemed far less perturbed by his ex-wife's life being over - meanie.



Coronation Street

The ructions over Todd and Karl's affair continued this week as the oh so sharp Katy found out about the cheating lovers' shenanigans. Having nearly been rumbled by teen bopper mum Sarah, Katy urged the indiscreet duo to end the affair. As the wedding plans stepped up and moved on, Todd remained in a quandary. No surprise there then. Will he choose his pregnant fiancee or will he continue to play doctors and nurses with his lover Karl? Decide, decide, decide. Now. Please.

Fred proceeded in his pursuit of finding love over the internet, as he vowed to trim down to woo an unsuspecting lady over the information superhighway. Ashley became suspicious of the baggy butcher's behaviour, and feared for his health. Maybe it's all that meat and dripping. Umm.

Laughable Les succeeded in wooing an unenthusiastic Janice, as they shared an intimate night of passion (pass the sick bag) over a bottle of cheap vodka. He sure knows how to treat a 'lady'. The morning after the night before proved painful for the frivolous factory worker as her ex-hubby revelled in delight at his conquest. Calm down Les. It's Janice.



Emmerdale

The fallout from the Andy-Katie-Robert saga rumbled on this week as scorned teen brat ditzy Donna was still reeling from the recent revelations, venting her anger on every poor unsuspecting male in the village. Back at t-farm there was a slight respite for annoying Andy as he was reunited with his long-lost brother dastardly Daz. Lucky him. Meanwhile, Jack continued to be torn by his family's perilous situation and extended an olive branch to the cheating runt Robert by inviting him round for his tea. I'm sure that'll go down a storm up at t-farm, but then again, that Jack was never the sharpest tool in the box.

Gold-digging cheap Charity continued to vie for the attention of local landowner Tom's affections as she organised the big bash at Holdgate Farm. However, her tacky trumpeting of Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Birthday" was interrupted by the dramatic helicopter arrival of the sultry Sadie, the ice queen of the manor.

The siren immediately asserted her authority, ruffling feathers and facing up to the scheming ex-prostitute. Her venom increased towards the errant mother when she caught her with ageing Tom in a passionate clinch. I feel cat fight coming on. Woo.



Hollyoaks

Diabetic Dan continued to struggle with life inside and as he fell unconscious for refusing to eat. Idiot.

Zara bagged her man as she enjoyed a passionate moment with lamentable Lee, much to the chagrin of cooing Cameron.

Izzy, feeling alone and isolated following the trauma of recent weeks, sought solace in Scott as they enjoyed a secret tryst. Ben, incensed at his wife's betrayal, went in search of the brooding club-owner, seeking revenge. Is this really it for the moaning groaning young couple? Fingers crossed.
