Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood will host a weekly slot on the newly launched radio station Absolute Classic Rock.
The 62-year-old musician, who split from his wife Jo after an affair was leaked by the press nearly two years ago, will present the weekly show which offers "a unique insight into both Ronnie Wood's music collection and his life".
The star will also be playing his guitar in the studio in between tracks to give an insight into the song crafting process.
The show will air on digital station Absolute Classic Rock on Fridays from 9 April at 6PM. It will be repeated on Absolute on Saturdays at 10PM.
A spokeswoman for the station said: '"Ronnie will be casually twanging, strumming and picking riffs on his acoustic and other guitars between tracks.
"Ronnie will invite the listener into his life as every record he plays will comes with another story – a memory, a tale of debauchery or inspiration.
"Ronnie will deliver a playlist that comes straight from his heart, playing music that he loves and is passionate about."
Wood has been a key member of many of classic rock's most infamous bands including playing bass in The Jeff Beck Group, guitar in The Faces (will fellow Jeff Beck Group singer Rod Stewart) before joining The Rolling Stones in the 1970s, replacing guitarist Mick Taylor.
In addition, Wood is renowned artist. He recently created a range of clothes for the London store Liberty, based on his artworks.
