Singer and last year's Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Rachel Stevens has married actor Alex Bourne at a London ceremony.

The event was held at Claridges Hotel and was attended by close friends and family members. According to reports, Stevens' S Club 7 bandmates were not present, however.

The rights to the wedding have been sold to a celebrity magazine.

Stevens, who has a string of solo hits, lost out in the Strictly final to Tom Chambers. Her then-fianc was regularly shown in the audience on the show.

Earlier in the year, Stevens was robbed in north London. The thieves got away with numerous items of value including her engagement ring.
