Andrew Lloyd Webber and Gary Barlow are working together on a special song for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, it has been revealed.
The finished track will be performed at the Diamond Jubilee concert, which will be held outside Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Queen's landmark reign, on 4 June.
Speaking about their collaboration, Take That star and X Factor judge Gary said:
"This is probably the biggest challenge I've ever taken on musically, I'm so excited and thrilled to be a part of it."
While Lord Lloyd Webber added:
"It is a huge honour to be involved in this historic occasion and I am looking forward very much to working with Gary."
In order to help create the piece of music, Gary will also embark on a journey around the world to discover what the Queen means to the people of the Commonwealth.
Footage from his trip will be screened on BBC One in an hour-long documentary.
Performers announced for the Diamond Jubilee concert include Sir Tom Jones, Sir Paul McCartney and JLS.
Applications for free tickets have already topped one million.
