Prince Harry has opened the headquarters of a brain injury charity this week on his first visit to Nottingham, in the UK. While at Headway headquarters, the 28-year-old Prince became involved in activities to see how those affected with brain injuries carry out daily actions.
This also involved Prince Harry changing a nappy on a doll - using only one hand. It seems the Prince may need a few more attempts in order to perfect this. Especially if he wants to help his brother, Prince William, and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, over changing a nappy for when their first baby is born.
Chairman of the charity, Andrew Green, said: “We hope Prince Harry's visit will help us achieve similar results and we offer our sincere thanks to His Royal Highness for taking time out of his busy schedule to support us in this way. It will be a momentous day in the history of the charity.”
The charity Headway, which helps people after they have suffered from brain injury, has also been linked with another royal family member; as the late Princess Diana supported the charity.
Mr. Green added: “Princess Diana's support of the charity greatly enhanced its profile and made more people aware not only of brain injury and its effects, but also of the help that was available.”
Prince Harry also made other visits to establishments during his trip to the East Midlands city. This included paying a visit to a youth club as well as a boxing club.
