A new inquest which will look into the deaths of the Hillsborough disasteris expected to take place in 2014, a coroner has ruled.
This concerns the 96 Liverpool fans who tragically lost their lives as a result of the disaster at the 1989 FA Cup football match.
The decision was reached at a High Court in London on Thursday, 25th April, 2013, after the initial accidental death verdicts were quashed.
There were calls from relatives of those who sadly lost their lives for the date to be set. The information as to where the new inquest will be held is yet to be confirmed.
The Hillsborough disaster occured during a football match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield.
