Orlando quashes engagement

Orlando Bloom has rubbished reports he is engaged to girlfriend Kate Bosworth.

The heartthrob star, who has enjoyed an on-off relationship with the beautiful actress, insists the pair are not betrothed.

He said: "None of that stuff is ever true, and anyone who knows me at all knows that."

Although Orlando - who split from Kate in January, before rekindling his romance with her this summer - has denied he is engaged, he insists it doesn't mean he isn't in love with Kate or doesn't want to marry her eventually.

He added: "It doesn't mean I don't love someone and that I'm not going to get engaged and settle down one day."

Last month, Orlando insisted he was desperate to get married and settle down.

The 'Lord of the Rings' star revealed he was ready to turn his back on bachelorhood and settle down with 'Miss Right'.

He said at the time: "At some point I will get married and have kids. I can't wait to. That would be great but when I am ready for it. Not before."
