BBC sitcom "The Office" looks set to win its third BAFTA in a row.
The comedy series has won the "Best Situation Comedy" award for the last two years, and has been nominated once more.
The British series recently triumphed in the Golden Globes awards in the US, but almost missed out back home after "The Office Christmas special" was left off ballot papers through an administrative error.
The show received three nominations. Ricky Gervais and Martin Freeman, who plays Tim, are both up for the Comedy Performance award.
Bill Nighy, who won Best Supporting Actor in the film BATAs, is looking to add to his haul, after being nominated with David Morrissey in the Best Actor category for their performances in "State of Play".
Other nominees in the Best Actor category are Jim Broadbent, for "The Young Visitors" and the new Doctor Who, Christopher Eccleston, for his part in "The Second Coming".
The biggest shock in the nominations is that EastEnders has been left off the list for "Best Continuing Drama", instead "The Bill", "Casualty","Coronation Street", and Holby City will face off for the award.
TV duo Ant and Dec have recieved double nominations for "Pop Idol" and "Saturday Night Takeaway" in the Entertainment Programme or Series category.
They will compete with "Friday Night With Jonathan Ross" and "Have I got News for You" for the award.
Davina McCall has been confirmed as host of the awards, they are set to be screened on ITV1 and ITV2 on April 18th.
