The latest Apprentice candidate to be fired by Lord Sugar has admitted it was because he was not "as experienced" as his rivals.
Shibby Robati was given the boot in the third episode of the show after his team, Apollo, lost the baking task.
He was criticised by his team-mate Paloma Vivanco for having “zero business experience” and making “rookie mistakes”.
Robati’s team made £194 less profit than their rivals, mainly due to him paying compensation to a hotelier when they failed to deliver the right amount of bread rolls.
The 27-year-old surgeon said: “I do feel that my business acumen wasn’t as experienced as the others.
“You don't get on to a show like this having no business experience. I set up two companies just over a year ago. You don't do that with no business experience, so I've got to have something there.
"Of course I'm not as business savvy as the others, but I know how to make money. The end result is what's on your bank statement.”
He also admitted that he felt intimidated by his female colleagues into overestimating the amount of bread rolls they could produce.
