George Lucas has said that he has no plans to make any more Star Wars films after Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith.
The man behind cinema's most lucrative franchise thinks he is too old to make the seventh, eighth and ninth instalments.
His comments follow the release of the original trilogy - A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi - on DVD.
"I'm not going to do it," Lucas told Entertainment Weekly. "I'm too old."
The filmmaker is said to have a number of other projects demanding his attention.
Revenge Of The Sith starring Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will hit cinemas in May next year.
